Sanmen Agricultural Expo Park is a national 3A-level scenic spot. It is located in Sanmen County, Taizhou, Zhejiang, China. The total area of the park is about 1,400 mu (1 mu is approximately 0.0667 hectares). The scenic spot takes “health preservation + style experience + study travel” as its theme. It has many attractions, including the Pharmacopoeia Culture Corridor, the Fishery and Farming Folk Culture Expo Hall, and the 24 Solar Terms Hall.
The maze in the park is a major feature. It is a square hedge maze, covering an area of 1,500 square meters. It is made up of 2,200 Chinese junipers. These Chinese junipers stand around like screens, forming winding paths. Every fork in the road is full of uncertainty, making visitors feel as if they are in a mysterious world.
There is an observation pavilion in the middle of the maze. When visitors walk through the maze and feel tired or lose their way, they can come to the pavilion to rest. Standing in the pavilion, visitors can look around and see the lush greenery around. They can feel the tranquility and beauty of nature.
There is a small lake next to the maze. There are two viewing piers on the lake surface. Outside the road around the lake, there are large areas of lawns, which are full of green. They can also sit on the lawns, enjoy the lake and mountain scenery, and spend a leisurely time.
