Families with young kids will love the mini corn maze. Made just for children 10 and younger, this smaller maze is less challenging but just as fun. When you get hungry, head to the food area. Picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis—you can bring your own food or buy from onsite vendors. Last entry is at 5 p.m., and the maze and site close at 6 p.m. You must buy tickets in advance for a specific time—there are no onsite ticket sales. General admission tickets aren’t available Friday to Sunday during the corn maze season. Also, the pumpkin patch is closed for the season, so plan your visit accordingly.
Chatfield Farms itself is a 700-acre native plant refuge and working farm, managed with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
