A very rare tea tree maze in the forest

Every weekend and holiday, people in Shenzhen always like to go into parks. Recently, in Tangxia Town, Dongguan, I found a “hidden forest”, which is Dapingzhang Forest Park. Covering an area of 25.79 square kilometers, it is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. No matter which door you enter through, it will take you most of the day to walk around. It is recommended to choose the South Gate for the first time, as all the beautiful scenic spots are concentrated here. The park is characterized by continuous hills and thick shade, making it a great place to escape the summer heat. The mountain path around the mountain is 27.8 kilometers long, and the hiking trail is 40 kilometers long. It is suitable for mountain climbing, hiking and cycling. At the foot of the mountain, there are also large lawns, streams, lakes and other natural landscapes, which are excellent choices for taking photos and strolling children.

The tea tree maze is the most popular attraction in the park, covering an area of 4,090 square meters and featuring a 1,000-meter-long trail. It is so vast that aerial photography is needed to capture the entire maze on the screen. The maze is composed of hedges made of Fujian tea shrubs, which are 2 meters high and 1 meter wide, forming a plant maze similar to Alice’s. The paths in the maze are winding and endless. Every fork in the road is full of unknowns, which is very interesting. Most people are not tall enough to reach the height of the maze, so once they enter the maze, they cannot observe where they are in it. Moreover, the maze has only one entrance and exit, and there is only one passage to get out. If tourists have a poor sense of direction, they are very likely to get lost in this wall of plants, only able to hear the low voices of others but not see anyone, feeling extremely anxious. This is where the fun of exploring the maze lies, right?

If you don’t want to transform into an “explorer” and experience the joy of conquering the maze, you can also take some photos here. Every corner can give full play to your imagination and capture fresh and interesting summer photos. We can listen to the birds singing, breathe fresh air, stroll through it and encounter the art of nature.
