Bago Maze is located in Herons Creek, New South Wales, Australia, and is part of Bago Vineyards. It is only a 30-minute drive from the coastal city of Port Macquarie. This maze covers an area of approximately 10,000 square meters and is pruned by the local cherry shrub Lilly Pilly, forming a winding path with a total length of 2,000 meters. It is one of the largest hedge mazes in New South Wales.

The maze was designed by landscape architect Ian Mobbs. It took six years to build and was officially opened in 2012. It has won the Landscape Architecture Award of New South Wales. Its design inspiration comes from the surrounding vineyards and jungles. With two interlaced spirals as the core, the path incorporates elements such as grapevines, Bridges, and sunken walkways. The finish line simulates the shape of a grape cluster, symbolizing the process of “grapes transforming into wine”. Inside the maze, there are two wooden observation towers. Tourists can climb up to overlook the full view of the hedges and plan their routes.

The maze is open all year round (except Christmas). It is open to the public from 9:00 to 17:00 every day, and the last entry time is 16:00. The ticket price is 12 Australian dollars for adults and 8 Australian dollars for children. The family package ticket (2 adults + 3 children) is 40 Australian dollars. Children under 5 years old are free. After exploring the maze, visitors can head to the winery to taste wines. For 10 Australian dollars, they can experience four flavors, paired with a 26 Australian dollar cheese platter or a 36 Australian dollar sausage platter, and enjoy a picnic on the lawn beside the vineyard.
