The Kimnyoung Maze Park is located in Jeju Province, South Korea. It was initiated by F.H.Dustin, a retired American professor from Jeju University, in 1983. He cleared the land and planted it with his own hands, gradually developing the park to its current scale. After retirement, the professor hoped to live on Jeju Island forever, so he began to design this park. The design of Kimnyoung Maze Park took a total of three years, and the saplings were planted starting from 1987.

Kimnyoung Maze Park was built according to the professor’s conception. Every year, new projects are added to present a brand-new look to everyone. The park’s fence is composed of 2,233 cypress trees. These trees have strong disease and cold resistance and grow at a rate of over one meter per year. Therefore, the park undergoes pruning more than twice a year to maintain its beautiful and interesting maze-like shape.

This place is very suitable for family outings. It’s very fun to come and walk through the maze with children. In the maze, you can also collect stamps. When you finally reach the destination, you can ring the bell, and everyone in the maze can hear it! There are also many fun children’s amusement facilities in the park, such as mini-golf, scooters, slides, building blocks, billiards and toy fishing, all of which are included in the ticket.

Besides, there are many cute kittens in the park and you can feed them with your children. There are many interesting places on Jeju Island. Kimnyoung Maze Park is definitely worth a visit!
