It’s such a sunny day—what a waste not to go out and play. We avoided the crowds and found Enchanted Adventure Garden, a hidden gem in the mountains. The experience here was even better than expected.

There are quite a few activities in the park. The Treehouse Adventure has different difficulty levels. My older son was a bit hesitant at first, but it clearly suits adults and older kids. We didn’t buy tickets to try it, but we can tell it must be a lot of fun.

The Tube Slide is a free activity—no extra cost needed. My older son had been looking forward to it before we came. My husband and I each took him for a slide. He didn’t like getting sprayed with water, but my husband had a great time.

The Children’s Playground is also a free area. It’s perfect for younger kids who are afraid to try the Treehouse Adventure. There are various treehouses, tube slides, and trampolines. They look nice and are fun to play on—definitely a great place for kids to burn off energy.

But the most fascinating part is the 5 themed mazes, each with its own charm.

The Hedge Maze is enclosed by evergreen shrubs. The shrubs are over an adult’s height, with dense leaves that block the view of the other side. The paths twist and turn, with every few steps. My older son always stopped at intersections to check directions, while my younger daughter ran along, occasionally spotting small stickers hidden beside the shrubs.

The Tire Maze is unique—it uses stacked old tires as walls. The tires are painted in different colors: red, blue, yellow. They look bright in the sunlight. There are gaps between the tires, so you can see if someone is nearby. My older son loved calling out to us through the gaps, playing like it was a game of hide-and-seek.

The Lawn Maze is on an open grassy area. Short green plants act as walls, just reaching above the ankles. When walking inside, you can see trees in the distance, which feels reassuring. The paths are marked with white lines on the grass. My younger daughter ran along the lines, giggling when she accidentally stepped off them.

The Lavender Maze is best visited during its blooming season. From June to August, when the lavender blooms, the whole area turns purple. The maze walls are made of lavender bushes, and you can smell their fragrance while walking. When we visited, the flowers had just sprouted, but we could imagine how beautiful it would be when they bloom. The paths aren’t complicated, making it perfect for a slow stroll.

The Indoor 3D Maze is in a small building. The walls and floors are covered with 3D patterns—like standing on a cliff edge or walking under a starry sky. My older son was scared to walk at first, but once he realized it was just a visual effect, he started running around. The lighting inside is a bit dim, but the exit is lit up, so there’s no need to worry about getting lost.

Each of these 5 mazes has its own way of being fun. We played from the afternoon until evening, and both my older son and younger daughter were reluctant to leave.

Admission is an all-in-one ticket that covers all these activities. It’s 42 Australian dollars for adults, 30 Australian dollars for children aged 3 to 15, and free for children under 3. The park is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00, with the latest entry at 15:30.

This is a great place to spend quality time with kids, letting them run around and enjoy nature and fun. If you’re looking for a family trip, this is definitely a good choice.
