Fuyang Botanical Garden is located in the southern new district of Fuyang City, covering an area of about 1125 mu (approximately 75 hectares). It is a comprehensive botanical garden integrating functions such as plant science popularization, cultivation research, and sightseeing. The garden is divided into North Garden, South Garden and East Garden, with North Garden as the main part. Each garden is independent yet complements each other, with mountains and waters adjacent to each other, presenting beautiful scenery.

In Baiqu Garden of the South Garden, there is a unique plant maze that is very popular among tourists. This maze has a special shape. When viewed from a high altitude, it looks like a large broadsword. It is surrounded by a patch of lush Chinese pine trees. The pines are densely arranged, forming natural “walls”.

Stepping into the maze, you seem to enter a green and mysterious world. The paths inside the garden are winding, with many branches. People visiting for the first time easily get lost. When you walk along the winding paths, you are surrounded by tall and straight pine trees. Their branches and leaves interweave with each other. Sunlight filters through the gaps between the branches and leaves, creating dappled light and shadow.

There are also some interesting signs and prompt boards set up in the maze. But don’t think you can walk out of the maze easily with their help. Sometimes, the path that seems correct may lead you to a dead end. However, a small path you find accidentally may be the key to reaching the exit.

Besides the plant maze, there are many other interesting places in Baiqu Garden. For example, in some corners of the garden, there are statues of animated characters such as the Seven Calabash Brothers and their grandfather. These statues attract many children to take photos with them. There are fountains and pools here, bringing a touch of coolness in the hot summer. In addition, there are some facilities suitable for children to play with, allowing kids to enjoy happiness to the fullest while playing. Both adults and children can find their own fun here.
