The French-style garden maze in Kunming Park 1903 is located in the park’s Dreamland Federal Park, near the right side of the Gospel Hall. The maze covers 8,200 square meters. It is enclosed by hedges of French holly and big-leaf boxwood, as tall as an adult. The ground is paved with small white stones. Its overall design is an inverted trapezoid, with 3 entrances and 1 exit.

The paths in the maze are winding. There are elevated stairs in between. Visitors can stand on the stairs to overlook part of the layout. There is a small European-style pavilion at the center of the maze. In the evening, sunlight filters through the hedges and falls in front of the pavilion. The scenery is peaceful. First-time visitors usually take about 45 minutes to find the exit. It is advisable to bring water and sun protection products.

Park 1903 is based on French style overall. It is adjacent to buildings like the replicated Arc de Triomphe of Paris and the Gothic-style Gospel Hall. Around it are Yunhu Music Fountain, light and shadow shows, and restaurants with flavors from various countries.
