On the east bank of Jiaomen River in Nansha District, Guangzhou, there stands a Nansha Children’s Park filled with joy and fun. Featuring marine culture and wetland culture, this park integrates parent-child activities and serves as a wonderful playground paradise for children. Among its attractions, the plant maze is undoubtedly the most amazing one.

This is a neatly trimmed hedge maze, with an area far beyond one’s imagination. Stepping into the maze, you feel as if you have entered a mysterious green world. At the center of the maze, there is a bright red pavilion, which shines like a dazzling ruby and attracts people to try their best to find the way to it.

Surrounding the central pavilion, there are 5 viewing platforms arranged like rotating windmill blades. Standing on these platforms, you can overlook part of the maze layout, which provides some clues for exploring the maze. Moreover, there are 4 more viewing platforms on the outermost part of the maze. When viewed from a high altitude, these platforms and the maze together outline a shape like a huge eye—deep and stunning, making people can’t help but admire the designer’s brilliant idea.

Children run through the maze, sometimes losing their way and sometimes finding new paths. During this process, they not only exercise their bodies but also improve their thinking and exploration abilities. When they finally succeed in reaching the central pavilion, the joy and sense of accomplishment glow on every child’s face.

After playing in the maze, parents can take their children to the nearby sandpit. Kids can step on the soft sand with bare feet and build castles with small shovels. The park also has a colorful climbing area, equipped with low climbing nets and small rock-climbing walls. In addition, there are special parent-child swings in the park, where parents and children can sit together and swing.

Whether for children or adults, the maze in Nansha Children’s Park is an unforgettable and surprising experience. It is definitely worth a visit to explore.
