There is a plant maze in the Children’s Exploration Garden of Zhengzhou Botanical Garden.The maze is enclosed by hedges as tall as an adult. It is not large in area, suitable for children to explore.The paths in the maze are winding. There is an observation platform in the middle. Standing on it, you can see the entire layout of the maze, which helps find the exit.
There is a guide map at the entrance of the maze. Children can check the route clearly before entering. There are many types of plants in the maze. Each plant has a name tag hanging on it, introducing its name and characteristics. Children can learn plant knowledge while playing.The design of the maze considers children of different ages. The path difficulty is moderate. Children over 3 years old can take part.
Next to the maze, there are sandpits and interactive facilities, such as speaking tubes and clapping drums. When children get tired from playing, they can go there to rest or keep playing.Parents can rest in the nearby rest area and watch their children explore.
The Children’s Exploration Garden where the maze is located is open for free. No reservation is needed.The botanical garden is open from 6:00 to 22:00 every day. Only leaving is allowed after 8 p.m.The maze is open during the day. It is better to go in the morning or afternoon. The weather is cool then, and there are fewer people.
Besides the maze, the Children’s Exploration Garden also has a science popularization exhibition area and a planting experience area. Children can plant plants with their own hands and learn about how plants grow.The whole exploration garden is full of fun. It is a good place for children to get close to nature and learn knowledge.
