The Yiwu Rose Garden Maze is in Zhejiang, China. It’s an agricultural tourism park centered around roses. With over 100 rose types grown here, the maze is the main attraction, perfect for visitors who love flowers and adventure.
The maze is built with standard and climbing roses. The flower walls are about 1.6 meters tall, forming curvy paths. The design has lots of forks and looped routes—first-time visitors usually take 20 to 40 minutes to find the exit. At the center, there’s a wooden viewing platform. Climb up, and you can see the maze’s circular layout, plus the big rose fields and countryside views in the distance.
The garden has over 120 rose varieties, like large-flowered roses, cluster roses, and miniature roses. From April to October each year, that’s the peak bloom time—red, pink, yellow, and white flowers open one after another, making the walls and paths super colorful. Even when not in peak bloom, they keep some roses blooming by mixing different varieties, so you’ll still see flowers.
The facilities are simple and useful. At the entrance, the visitor center gives out maze maps and rose guides. Next to the maze is a rose-themed shop selling rose seedlings, flower teas, and creative products. There are rest areas with benches and shaded spots where you can take a break. The food area serves simple local snacks and drinks to help you refuel.
This maze is great for families—kids can learn about different roses while exploring. It’s also nice for friends or couples to take photos in the flower sea. The flat paths make it easy for wheelchairs and strollers. No fancy stuff here—just the natural smell of roses and simple paths. You can enjoy the beauty of roses and have fun exploring the countryside maze.
