The maze is made of tall corn plants, which create a thick, green wall all around you as you walk through. This corn maze is family-friendly, so you won’t have to worry about goblins or ghosts jumping out at you. It’s all about the fun of solving the maze together.
The corn maze opens daily at 10 AM, and the last admission is at 5:00 PM. The farm closes at 7 PM, so you have plenty of time to explore. But if you’re feeling brave, you can try the Night Maze! The Night Maze is only open in October, on Friday and Saturday nights. It starts at 6 PM, with last admission at 9:30 PM, and the farm closes at 11 PM. For groups who want to visit the Night Maze on Sunday to Thursday, reservations are a must—you need at least 10 people. And if your group buys 20 or more tickets in one transaction, you get a $2 discount per ticket. This discount automatically applies when you have 20 or more tickets in your online cart.
Bob’s Corn Maze doesn’t forget the little ones either. There are two kids mazes just for them! One is a color find maze, where kids can hunt for different colors as they make their way through. The other is a story trail maze, and this year it features Cinderella and the glass slipper. These mazes are the perfect size for kids, so they can have fun without feeling overwhelmed.
When you’re done with the maze, there are even more fun things to do. You can take a hayride—there’s a free hayride to the pumpkin patch too! The pumpkin patch at Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm is amazing. Bob plants over 60 varieties of pumpkins on 40 acres. You’ll find giant orange pumpkins, tall skinny ones, perfect round ones, and even white ghostly pumpkins. There are fun, gnarly pumpkins with bumps that look like witch’s warts, tiny mini pumpkins, and even pumpkins that weigh 200 lbs. Plus, there are gourmet eating pumpkins too.
If you want to make your visit even more special, you can reserve a firepit. There are 18 firepits inside the maze, great for private groups, organizations, get-togethers, or birthday parties. Bob’s provides the firewood and tiki torches, and they even build and maintain the fire for you. All you need to do is bring your roasting sticks, food, and supplies. You can leave them at the group check-in area on the north side of Bob’s Country Store, and the staff will transport them to your firepit—so you don’t have to carry them through the maze. When you’re finished with the firepit, leave your supplies there, enjoy the second half of the maze, and when you get back from the hayride, your supplies will be waiting for you at the check-in area. Just remember, everyone attending the firepit needs to pay the farm admission fee.
Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm is open from August through October, but the fun activities like the maze and pumpkin patch really get going the last weekend in September and go through the last weekend of October.
