Kalvehave Labyrinth Park is an amazing maze park in Denmark. It’s between Holbæk and Næstved, right on the ruins of an old castle.
This park has as many as 8 different mazes. The Ivy Maze is the main highlight—it’s built with 18 kilometers of wooden planks, posts, and 60,000 screws. Walking inside really tests your sense of direction. You’ll have to work hard to find your way to the center.
There’s also the super old Hampton Court Maze. It’s an exact copy of the 300-year-old maze at Britain’s Hampton Court Palace. Then there’s the Troy Fort Maze, made with 3 tons of stone. Its unique pattern goes all the way back 3,500 years! The Taxi Maze is designed like a city street network—full of one-way roads. It feels just like being a taxi driver weaving through a city. And don’t miss the Compass Maze, which is almost invisible. It’s hidden in the grass, with tiles underfoot—total test of your memory! There’s even a Minefield Maze where you need to work as a team to get through safely.
Besides the mazes, the park has lots of fun games and brainteasers waiting for you. You can exercise your logic skills while having a good time. When you’re tired, you can grab something to eat at the park’s café, or enjoy a picnic with your own food in the picnic area.
The park is open all year round, with different activities each season. From April to September, it’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. From October to March, it closes at 4 p.m. It’s perfect for a family day out—both kids and adults will find tons of fun here and make unforgettable memories.
