Fe&#x27;i plannwyd ym 1996 gan Peter Lamb, ffrind i Tim a Darina. Roedd Peter wedi breuddwydio ers tro am greu Drysfa Geltaidd, wedi\u2019i hysbrydoli gan y patrymau cymhleth a haniaethol a geir yn llawysgrifau Oes Aur Iwerddon, fel Llyfr Kells a Durrow. Fodd bynnag, nid oedd ganddo ddigon o le ar gyfer ei ddyluniad mawreddog. Yn ffodus, mabwysiadodd Darina, a oedd hefyd wedi bod yn meddwl am blannu drysfa ers 1992, ei gynllun.
